No, you're not dreaming. This is a new post. London is wonderful but complicated and hectic at some times. Living in this huge city is so different to living in my tiny village back home. I'm constantly on the run. Always up to something. I finally managed to visit Brick Lane. I've never been able to take a look at it before. Either way I was too busy or I couldn't find it. Although I expected it to be different I really like it. Makes me love vintage shopping even more. Although they're not really affordable.
I'm sorry for the lack of outfit pictures but I need to invest my money in other things. (Like painting my room. So excited. I love redecorating!) Although it's incredibly hard for me not to jump on the bus and drive 20 minutes to Oxford street.

Okay, to everbody who is following me on twitter: I am really sorry for all my tv show ramblings. It's impossible to control. This is the outfit I wore on Saturday for the family birthday dinner. It was quite nice. The weather was lovely, the food amazing and I got spoilt like you can only get spoilt on your birthday. But the problem was that we had to walk through a rather old part of my town. And I am not an experienced high heel walker. The only experience I have is one night in the club on 14cm heels. So I stumbled over cobbles and probably made my mum's arm go limp since I held it so tight. Well, at leat my grandparents had a good laugh.

I changed my layout again. Well, just minor font changes. I wanted it to be a bit "messier" since that really goes along with the state of my closet.

Autumn is just so beautiful now. I've probably never experienced such a warm and dry one before. I took those pictures after work and I just love how the light blurs the details here. I think sunlight always gives your photographs some kind of a magical look. Although I have to admit that I look quite scary in the last picture. Maybe there was a bit too much light ...
This is just a casual outfit for a day in the office. I didn't really feel like dressing up today. This cardigan is just so cozy. One of my best friends. It always keeps you warm no matter what. And it always gives your outfit a casual look. It looks shabby now because I used to wear it too much but nothing can end our love!
Oh, and after watching "The Vampire Diaries" premiere two weeks ago I've been listening to this song. Non-stop. You should give it a try. Although I have a habit of overplaying songs I still can't get enough of this one. After 14 days.

Introducing my new and super cozy knit from Zara. It's just so pretty. I'm in love. The jumper was also available in beige and red but I always look sick wearing beige and since I'm more for basic colours ... I love autum, I really do. Nothing is better than layering. But it has gone from rainy and cold to super cold. So it is almost too cold to wear something without a jacket. But my favourite outfit with this knit would be black semi-transparent(?) tights, shorts and my beloved Doc Martens. So let's just hope I can wear it this year.
Right now I am busy with birthdays (Seriously, why is do people always have the urge to expand their family in winter?). But also with planning my future. DOn't get me wrong I love this whole globalization and you can study wherever you want thing but it's just too much to choose from.

Life is super normal right now. Well, super boring. A reason for that might be the lack of tv shows right now. A lot of my favourite shows are on hiatus right now or got cancelled last season (Yes, I'm looking at you FOX!) But I just started to watch "The Vampire Diaries". It's not as bad as I thought. Actually it's quite brutal and bloody. But hey, the things you do for handsome men. Seriously the whole male cast is just so yummy. Especially Michael Trevino.
And I just read "1984" by George Orwell which I was kind of disappointed in. So much hype about ... I don't know. An average dystopia? But the book was still very much alright. Don't want to give any recommendations here :)

Yay, autumn finally arrived. It's finally cold enough to wear knits :D I love them. They are all I need during autumn and winter. I got this knit last year in Stockholm and it has been my most faithfully one ever since. It got me through super boring Geography lessons and 24 hours bus rides. Oversized knits are really your best friend. There is just one thing I would advice you never to do. Never ever wash knits by hand. I did it once. My knit couldn't dry properly because it was soaked hence it smelled really bad. I could only get rid of the smell by putting it in the washing machine (Which I should have done right from the beginning ...) It looks a bit battered now but I don't care. Well, I could also be the only stupid person who finds delight in washing by hand . So maybe just forget my advice ...

Good God, blogger just deleted my whole post and it was a long post! But this is basically what I wrote: Greatest outfit post of all time! Sorry, for the lack of pictures but it started raining while I was shooting and it just wouldn't stop. Hence no pictures of my shoes because they were drenched. Well, I wore my Asos ankle boots that I wear most of the time :)
I'm really pissed off by bloggers comment system lately. I like to reply to your comments. But the problem is that there is no way you're going to notice when I replied. So I could get Disqus. I've been sitting in front of the computer for hours trying to find THE pair of chunky black ankle boots. I found a few. Most of them are not available anymore. I adore the Acne Hybria boots because of the perfect platform and their unique look. Couldn't find them anywhere. Then I found the Acne Atacoma boots. Yeah, collection of 2009 so nowhere to be found. But luckily I found the Jeffrey Campbell boots "inspired" by them. I didn't find to many pictures of them on the internet though. Hence I'm not sure how they look properly worn.
The Litas are super pretty as well. Mostly because of the sequins. I can never resist glitter. I don't even care that they are the most common shoes ever. They are pretty and I like them so I'll wear them if I want to. They are currently sold out though :(
Now I need to choose between Jeffrey Campbell and Matiko. This is such a though decision ... But I think I'll buy the ones from Matiko since it's a limited edition. And I've been wanting them for such a long time already (Well, they came out in August ... ) They look kind of domina like which worries me a bit. But I'm not on they sexy side of fashion (Hence people always tell me I look like twelve.) So I'll just look like a twelve year old wearing inappropriate shoes :)
Still want to have the Tardy ... So please buy my biker jacket or something else :D

Sorry for this out-of-bed-look but it was my day off and I was too lazy to put on some make-up. I like to call those boots my feminine DocMartens because they've got a kind of softer look. The super nice leather and the ... smaller shape makes them a lot more wearable in my opinion. I'm a bit sad that they have this battered look but never underestimate a Northern European winter.
I'm impatiently waiting for my H&M order to arrive. I was lucky enough to get to buy two necklaces while they website was facing technical difficulties. But now they tell me that my items should have arrived already. Well, they didn't so hurry.

My first Converse. I know I'm late but when I was still in school (So about 3 months ago ...) 90% of the pupils owned these shoes. And that they where so common was propably the reason why it took me so long to get them. I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of those shoes but they are comfortable and look quite okay. I actually own a pair already but they are fake ones and I just thought that I had to get the originals. Because they're going to last the longest. Well, and they are the perfect shopping shoes because you probably won't get blisters :D

Shitty summer is hopefully over and it's finally time for everything faux fur. I just love to run around town and feel like a giant teddy bear :D Faux fur is something I'll never get tired of. I am so sorry for not being around lately but there was just so much going on. Work started and I had to organize my ebay items ... Everything was just a little bit crazy :)

Since my birthday is coming up in little more than a month I needed to go through all the present possebilities. My mum's buying me Ray Ban sunglasses (Yay :D) and I just need to choose a pair.

Cats 1000. I love them. They are huge and just hide the right amount of face. The only problem I got is they are not classics like the Wayfarer or Clubmaster. The first one is too broad for my face and the latter hasn't arrived yet. But if I get them I'll order them with darker glasses. Because other people can see my eyes which does nothing for watching other people. And I love doing that :D

New Wayfarer. Can i just say that I look ridiculous? I won't get those glasses. No way!

No Ray Ban. But Mr. Queen got a new camera strap. Got it from this shop and the quality is just really, really great.

Sorry for the lack of pictures but my battery run out of power :/ I really, really try to take pictures every day but sometimes the weather just doesn't cooperate. It was extremely hot and humid yesterday (Which is the reason for my 2375290 mosquito bites ...) I finally started working this week which means I earn my own money for the first time in my life :D But since I work at an office I kind of have to adapt to the dress code. So no tent-like shirts, Doc Martens or worn out jeans shorts. Since I already was in town I went to our local shopping street as well. I have absolutely no idea how people over here are supposed to dress fashionable. They didn't even have one knit at Zara and I couldn't find those awesome metal chokers at H&M as well. So online shopping it is for me.
In other news, my twitter account is no longer private. I got a lot of request the past weeks but as soon as I accepted people unfollwed me. I suppose they expected something different. So now you know who you deal with. I ramble a lot. Mostly about tv shows.

I've been adding new items to my ebay store all day. I feel half dead right now. You wouldn't believe how many weird clothes I owned only 3 years ago. I really hope that someone will buy them. I need more space in my closet. I bought this top at Gina Tricot last year in Stockholm. And I'm so glad I did because the pattern is so nice and the cut(You don't really see it on the pictures though) is very loose and comfortable but still manages to make an outfit special. Sorry for the crappy pictures. The sun decided not to shine today. Oooh, but did you see how pretty Mr. Queen (my camera) looks with his new lens hood? :D

I got this jumper on sale which is pretty unusual for me. I never find something on sale. Either my size is sold out or I don't like the items. But I think the cut on the jumper is awesome, the material is great and the print is lovely as well. I tried to create some kind of marine look and I really like it :) I just need to get black high waisted shorts as soon as possible. I think it's quite tacky looking if you show off your belly button and since this jumper is really short ... You really have to keep your arm movements to a minimum :D

Wow, "leggings" is a weird word. I just spent 5 minutes on the right spelling ... I stole this shirt from my brother. He only wears black nowadays anyway so he won't miss it. It kind of feels like you're wearing a tent but it's really comfortable and it works with almost every tight and leggins (Haha :D). I'm sorry for wearing the sunglasses the 137934 time in a row but they are my only completely black ones. And I was too lazy to put on some makeup this morning :D
Now all my dogs are featured on my blog. Based on all the photos I've ever taken I could make a blog only with dog pictures. I could post there every day for 3 years without taking new pictures :) But since it's not about my dog you'll only see them occasionally. Tomorrow for example :D

Seriously? My makeup skills are ridiculous. I look like I've been awake for 24 hours straight. I should really get some eyliner. Although I will probably hurt my eyes really bad with my shaky hands. Anyway, I adore this jumper. It's one of the best purchases I made this year. The material is thick and keeps you super warm (I almost died taking those photos. It was probably only 20 degrees but after months of rain and 15 degrees everything above 20 feels like summer.) The cut is really unique in my opinion. I tried to picture it but I don't think I succeeded :D The only problem were the seams. The were cut of and I just think that it gets really cheap looking after a while when the seams roll up. So I gave the jumper to my mum and she made it perfect :)
Thank you to all my followers, old and new :) You're making my blog experience so much better! I wanted to say that in forever but there is always so much on my mind. I'll get better. I promise :)

I actually wanted to show you my new lipstick that I bought at Sephora in Poland (Sephora is really awesome. Mainly for that fact that the staff doesn't wear blouses in a shockingly shade of green.) But after I took the photos I realized I forgot to put it on. So now your are getting close-ups of my mascara and blush :D
Have to say something about my t-shirt. The only reason I bought it was Kate Walsh. Who wouldn't want to wear something she wore as well? But now I really love it. Not only for the fact that Kate Walsh wore it but also for the colours and the superhero mode you're in while wearing it.

Yay, I'm finally getting better at shooting with the selftimer. At least this is what I think :D This is actually an outfit that I wore in Poland but since I didn't take many pictures there due to the heavy rain (As if I wouldn't have enough of that at home. We are literally drowning! Thank God, we're living up on a hill.)I am taking pictures of them at home now.
I love those trousers to death. Although people tease me about them by calling them pyjama bottoms I will never stop wearing them. They are super comfortable and the print is just lovely :)

The first time I saw those watches I knew right away that I needed to get one. Love this one in particular. Really like the colours. This light pink and grey fit so well together :)

I could literally buy all the shoes in every available colour in this shop. If only I had the money :D I especially adore the wedges. Obviously because of the leopard print. I live on this pattern! But the pumps seem to be perfect as well. Not too high and they look comfortable to walk in.

Ray Ban | Clubmaster
Well, shame on me but I didn't even know the brand Ray Ban existed until a few years ago. Although the Wayfarers really don't suit me I was astonished by the high quality. I opted for the Clubmaster because they create some kind of rock vibe. And I love the gold details. And Tim Roth owns a pair as well :D

And although I wanted to have the Clubmaster for over a year now I recently discovered the Cats 1000 (Yeah, very early. I know :D). Love the bigger size and that they've got two-tone glasses. Now I can't decide which pair I want more :(

Cambridge Satchel | The Classic Red/Pink
I really don't care that those bags are a huge trend in the blogger world. I adore satchels. They have been my constant friend in school. And even if they are probably "out" by now I will never ever not wear them. I originally intended to buy the red one but my girly side needs some love so I might end up buying the pink one :)

Of course I don't have the money to buy all those pieces because I'm currently half unemployed thanks to useless authorities. But if someone feels the need to give some of these things to me ... You are more than welcome :D

And I need your help on another matter. I plan to buy a new lens for my Nikon(Whose name is Mr. Queen :D). I'd like to have a special one for shooting portraits. I just don't know which one is better: Nikon AF-S Micro Nikkor DX 85mm 1:3.5G or Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm 1:1,4G?
I'm leaning more towards the 50mm lense though.
Sorry for my rambling. But it's like 2:30 a.m. right now and I always get a little too talkative when I'm tired :D

Gdansk: Day 1-5

Some impressions from Gdansk city centre.

The pier in Sopot. You actually had to pay in order to go onto the pier. We decided not to got because the really interesting part is the pier itself and not the view you have on the Baltic Sea while standing on it :)

This is the interesting part I was talking about :D

Park in the area of Oliwa. I actually didn't expect it to look that nice :)

FOOD! Polish cuisine is one of my favourites. They cook so many delicious things like bigos or pierogies. Although the picture clearly shows Italian food ... :D

More delicious food. I think it was some mango cake.

Details from out hotel room. If you ever want to visit Gdansk I strongly recommend the LALALA Arthotel in Sopot. Every room was designed by a different artist and everything is kept very cool and unique. Although it's about 20 minutes walk to the city centre you can't find a fancier place to stay at. Plus the WiFi is super fast :D

I think it's obvious that I didn't sleep in this bed. Way too scary having a plastic hand on the bed frame.

On a more serious note, I am shocked by the recent happenings in England. It's disgusting to see what has happened to humanity. This senseless violence cannot be excused by any means.
I'm only glad that is has calmed down by now. At least that's how it seems to be. I hope it stays that way. Stay safe.

Zakynthos: Day 7

Blue Caves. Incredible water. This is actually how it looks in real life. No Photoshop or anything like that.

Well, that's me looking pissed. I get seasick and my mum got us a trip on the smallest boat available. Which is obviously much worse because you can feel every wave. But luckily nothing happened :)

Again very blue water. If you ever get chance take a look at the caves. Although it is very touristy. It's worth it.

Ahaha, the magical box. Want to know what's in there?

Yay, a brownie and lemon pie. Oh, so delicious. I didn't even know Greek people were so good in the kitchen.

I really have to do something about my layout. If only it wouldn't be so hard on blogger. I used to have a blog on livejournal and it was the easiest thing ever to change your layout. Now you need to be an expert :( I really want my pictures to be bigger and in general just more me.

So many olive trees. Loved the scenery.

I promise, this is the last picture of a beach you'll see from the island :D Great beach but terrible stairs. Especially at 1 pm and 30 degrees.

The supermaket was super expensive. They sold ordinary sunblocker for more than 25 Euros! But anyway, I would have bought tons of this snack. It's only sesame and honey but ... Oh, so delicious :)

Zakynthos city. Nothing spectacular happened there. But still a nice view.

Okay, I'm more of a dog girl but the cats there were so cute. Very slim but I think that was how they were supposed to look. All I see at home are fat cats compared to them :D

I'll drive to Poland this Saturday with my mum and it's going to take us a while. So if anybody could recommend some good music ... :)

Zakynthos: Day 5

Random picture of something that is not a beach. Actually this huge building is a convent. But my mum and I weren't properly dressed so no pictures from the inside.

Best ice cream. That has absolutely nothing to do with the super awesome names.

Random picture of a random church. All you could see on this island were churches and beaches. So sorry if I can't remember all the names. Although I thought it was quite nice of those two people to look into my camera :D

Loudest insect ever. This was actually my second attempt to take a picture of a cicada. The first one was a grasshopper. Yeah, I'm not that familiar with insects :D

Keri. Taking this picture was kind of scary because of the very, very shaky bridge.

This was actually my favourite beach. We were the only people there and the rocks were quite comfortable as well. It was somewhere in the South West. There are not too many beaches in this area. So if you happen to go to Zakynthos make sure you visit this beach :)

Wow, I don't know how but somehow I managed to only take pictures of beaches again. I'm sorry, I promise you better ones tomorrow :D

I love those umbrellas. I'd like to take them home only to lay under palms while it's raining on the outside :D

This is actually the same beach just from another angle. Was one of my favourites again. You can never do wrong with free umbrellas :D

Banana Beach. According to our not so old guide book this was supposed to be a quiet beach. Well, that didn't work out. But apart from the mass of people the beach was okay. Kind of ordinary though ;)

Zakynthos: Day 3

Sorry for the lack of pictures today but that day was really uneventful. We met some friends there and they stayed at the beach almost the whole day. They got up at like 8 am, had a siesta and went to the beach again. So this was the one day where we stayed at the beach the whole day. I really burnt my feet when took this picture. I didn't even know sand could be that hot!

This was such a terrible beach. It was huge and full of tourists but the worst were the turtle eggs. There are so many beaches on this island. Is it really necessary to use the one occupied by animals?

Since we didn't stay on the other beach we searched for a smaller one. This one was quite nice. The hotels were closed so there wasn't too much noise. I actually took my camera into the water to taker this picture. So glad I didn't drop it :D

Zakynthos: Day 2

Shipwreck Beach. This is like the attraction of the island. It was a beautiful view and I have never ever seen such blue water in my entire life. The photos don't do justice at all.

Some random windmill. There have been so many I don't even know which were important.

Yeah, I didn't have a sunblocker for my face so I had to use the regular one. Hence my face is all shiny. But I've got a very British nose. 2 minutes in the sun and it's all red.

More feta. I think it was my staple food during this week.

One of my favourite beaches. It was very small and there were basically no tourists. And the water was so clear you could see the ground all the time.

Again the incredibly blue water. Croatia is supposed to have the bluest water in the Mediterranean Sea. I think it wwill hurt my eyes.

This was actually a really beautiful place. The sun just started to set and it looked really magical without people and the ruin of the house.

Zakynthos: Day 1

Yay, I'm back home :D Greece has been lovely. The weather was super hot but it was windy still kinda nice. Those are pictures from our first day there. Has been only half a day so nothing spectacular.
As great as it is to be back home ... Finding out about the horribl things that happened in Norway was quite a shock. I don't even want to talk about the rage that I'm feeling towards this man. So keep your loved ones safe and tell them you love them.

The beach at the place we were staying at. It was really not the best one but still lovely.

Me being brave. I'm such a baby when it comes to swimming. Not that I can't but the water can never be warm enough for me. It can take me hours until I'm ready to go swimmming.

Mmmh, delicious Greek food. Could have eaten feta all day long. The best cheese the world has ever seen.

More delicious food. This is actually what my mum ate. I think it's stuffed tomatoes and vine leaves.

I seem to be wearing this blouse in almost every post :D I wasn't planning on wearing it again this time but the one I actually wanted to wear needed to be ironed. And that's really not something I like to do :D You know, jeggins are a terrible invention. They make your legs look weird and you always have to wear something longer to hide the fact that your "jeans" don't have a zipper. But I quite like those Zara ones. They look really high quality because you don't really see that they're not jeans at first sight. Thank you for all your comments and thank you to my 7 followers. These shoes own my heart. It doesn't matter what you're wearing they always suit the style somehow :) Of course, the Acne Pistol Boots are the ones to own but as an unemployed student you don't have much choice. But I think they're the perfect alternative :) Once again I have to say sorry for the pictures but I've been terribly sick yesterday hence no pictures of my pale face ;) But I'll be going to town tomorrow so I promise you a proper outfit with shoes, a jacket and maybe a handbag :P I'm gonna drink some tea and watch the newest episode of "Leverage" again to get a bit better.

That's a very Swedish outfit :D Those leggins are one of my favourite pieces in my closet. It doesn't matter what you wear they always make it more interesting. It's not only Egyptian inspired print but also the waisted cut. It was love at first sight :D But anyway, since I'm having this blog and actually writing down where I bought my clothes I noticed that I desperately need some more high quality pieces. And probably some more vinate and 2nd hand ones as well. Just to create a more unique style and not one that you can see in every H&M store :) Oh, and I'm very sorry for the quality of some pictures on this post. I think I used wrong settings :/

Isn't this trolley cute? :D My old one recently broke on my trip to Romania so I needed a new one. And what could have been better than one with a cow print? It's only my handluggage but that should be clear :D I'm wearing this amazing handmade jumper from Latvia. My mum bought it a few years ago but barely wore it because it was so scratchy. But the more you wear it the better it feels on your skin. So I secretly stole it from her :D A lot of people asked me if the look of my hair in the last post is natural. No, it's not. I only braided my hair shortly after I washed it :)

He is probably traumatized because I used to follow him around with my camera when he was a puppy. Apparently summer said good bye again. It's raining cats and dogs and it's incredibly stormy. Since going out is not an option what's better than reading a book and drinking tea? I just love to cuddle up in my bed with a good book. Especially with this super comfy hoodie. Although you can get it in every souvenir shop in London the quality is quite good. Well, since I've got holidays and nothing better to do than staying at home, reading books and drinking tea, my outift is pretty basic. I usually run around the house in a pair of leggins and an oversized t-shirt. But this is really not worth showing :D Sorry for the shitty location but I haven't got another place for shooting except my room. And I still have a love/hate relationship with my selftimer which probably explains the bad quality. I think I still need some time to work properly with it ;)
